Quakerism suits independent thinkers. It is of Christian origin but many Quakers seek and accept enlightenment from other sources as being of equal value. There is no accepted creed. Beliefs vary among Quakers, however they recognise that there is something of the divine in everyone and that the whole of life is sacred.
